Tutorial Jaringan LAN

Belajar membangun jaringan LAN (Local Area Network) sebenarnya sangat mudahdan sederhana namun dibutuhkan ketelitian dan menguasai sedikit tentang komputer,bagi andaayng sedang atau akanmemulai belajar tentang jaringan komputer berikut ini sedikit kita akan berbagi ilmu bagaimana cara membangun sistem jaringan LAN (Local Area Network) dengan Topologi Star. Sebelumnya anda dapat membaca postingan terlebih dahulu tentang topologi jaringan. LAN dengan topologi star ini biasanya banyak dipakai oleh para pemilik warnet/game online, namun ada juga beberapa perusahaan yang menggunakan topologi ini terutama dengan jarak jangkau antara satu PC dengan lainnya tidak terlalu jauh. Untuk memulai membangun jaringan ini berikut alat-dan bahan yang diperlukan.

1. PC dua buah atau lebih
2. Network Card/Lan Card
3. Hub/Switch
4. Kabel UTP(panjang disesuaikan dengan jarak antar PC)
5. Konektor RJ45
6. Tang Crimping
7. Pisau cutter/Gunting

Setelah bahan tersebut tersedia pembangunan LAN bisa langsung dilakukan. Berikut panduannya....

1. Potong masing-masing ujung kabel menggunakan pisau cutter/gunting kira-kira 1-2 cm.
2. Masukan masing-masing ujung kabel yang sudah dipotong tersebut ke RJ45,lihat tutornya disini Konfigurasi Kabel LAN untuk pemasangan kabel ke konektor RJ45.
3. Setelah semua kabel terpasang dengan RJ45 masukan salah satu konektor ke masing-masing land card yang terpasang pada masing-masing PC dan ujung lainnya tertancap ke port yang ada pada hub/switch, saya sarankan untuk memakai land card yang terpasang pada slot PCI bukan agar dalam proses transfer file bisa maksimal. Pastikan pula driver lancard tersebut sudah terinstall.
4. Terakhir lakukan konfigurasi IP pada masing-masing komputer.

Setting IP pada Windows XP 
Klik Start -> Control Panel -> Network Connection -> pilih Local Area Connection -> klik kanan icon tersebut, pilih Properties -> pada tab General pilih Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) kemudian klik Properties -> tandai use the following ip address dan pada bagian IP Adress, isi dengan 168.192.1.1-255 (isi pada tiap PC secara berurutan) tekan TAB pada keyboard dan otomatis pada Subnet Mask akan terisi 255.255.255.0 dan klik OK.

Setting IP pada Windows 7
Klik Start -> Control Panel -> pilih Network and Internet -> Network and Sharing Center -> pada jendela bagian kiri klik Change Adapter Settings -> Klik kanan pada Icon Local Area Network dan klik Properties -> muncul jendela baru, pada tab menu klik Networking -> kemudian sorot Internet Protocol Version 4 lalu klik Properties -> tandai use the following ip address dan pada bagian IP Adress, isi dengan 168.192.1.1-255 (isi pada tiap PC secara berurutan) tekan TAB pada keyboard dan otomatis pada Subnet Mask akan terisi 255.255.255.0 dan klik OK. Note Untuk windows 7 apabila memakai IP Dynamic biasanya langsung connect tanpa setting IP manual. Begitulah cara membangun LAN secara sederhana, apabila terdapat kesalahan mohon informasinya. Tutorial Konfigurasi Kabel LAN

Bagi Anda yang belajar jaringan komputer, pasti akan bertemu dengan yang namanya mengkonfigurasi kabel LAN. Kabel LAN di sini merupakan salah satu media transmisi data dalam jaringan komputer tipe Wire (Kabel). Ada dua jenis kabel yang bisa digunakan dalam mengkonfigurasi kabel LAN, yaitu STP (Shield Twisted Pair) dan UTP (Unshield Twisted Pair).

Di dalam kabel STP maupun UTP tersebut, terdapat kabel-kabel berwarna yang memiliki makna masing-masing. Hal ini digunakan untuk membedakan tipe standar pengkabelan antara T568A dan T568B. Bagaimana perbedaannya? Sebagai berikut: 
T568A urutan warnanya dari kiri ke kanan: Putih Hijau-hijau-putih orange-biru-putih biru-orange-putih coklat-coklat 
T568B urutan warnanya dari kiri ke kanan: Putih Orange-orange-putih hijau-biru-putih biru-hijau-putih coklat-coklat 
Selain itu, ada 3 jenis pengkabelan, yaitu Straight, Crossover, Rollover. Perbedaannya terletak pada komposisi tipe standar T568A atau T568B. Straight kedua ujung kabelnya menggunakan tipe yang sama, apakah T568A saja atau T568B saja.

Crossover kedua ujungnya memiliki tipe kabel berbeda, misal di ujung kiri T568A maka di ujung kanan T568B atau sebaliknya.

Rollover kedua ujungnya memiliki urutan kabel berbeda dari segi urutan warna kabel, misal pada ujung kiri kabel menggunakan T568A dengan putih hijau di nomor 1, maka di ujung kanan warna putih hijau berada di nomor 8.

Dalam tutorial kali ini, kita akan mengkonfigurasi kabel LAN tipe Straight dengan menggunakan kabel jenis UTP. Sebelum memulai praktikum, persiapkan dulu alat dan bahan yang dibutuhkan, yaitu: - Kabel UTP - Crimping Tools - Tang - Alat Pemotong untuk mengupas kabel - Konektor RJ-45 - Cable Tester

Jika semua telah siap, ikuti langkah-langkah praktikum berikut ini: 
1. Kupaslah kedua ujung kabel UTP yang Anda miliki dengan alat pengupas (pada gambar alat warna kuning kecil), namun harus hati-hati jangan sampai kabel-kabel berwarna di dalamnya tergores apalagi sampai putus. 
2. Kemudian, untwist (lepaskan) lilitan kabel berwarna dan urutkan sesuai tipe yang akan kita pakai (T568A atau T568B) 
3. Setelah yakin terurut dengan benar, maka satukan dan luruskan dengan menggunakan Crimping Tool (pada gambar yaitu alat seperti tang warna hitam-merah) dan potong sedikit ujungnya dengan Crimping Tool tadi. 
4. Setelah itu, siapkan konektor RJ-45 (otak kabel), lalu masukkan dengan posisi tanduk RJ-45 di bawah. Lakukan ini satu persatu pada kedua ujung. 
5. Jika telah selesai memasukkannya, kali ini kuatkan pegangan kabel pada konektor tersebut dengan menggunakan Crimping Tool, masukkan ke dalam lubang yang ada pada sisi Crimping Tool lalu tekan kedua gagangnya hingga terdengar bunyi klik. 
6. Lakukan langkah 5 pada ujung berikutnya. 
7. Jika sudah, maka sekarang saatnya langkah terakhir yang menentukan keberhasilan pengkonfigurasian kali ini dengan menguji kabel tersebut pada Cable Tester yang sudah disediakan. Masukkan kedua ujung kabel pada dua lubang pada Cable Tester, lalu perhatikan urutan nomor nyala lampu sebagai indikator keberhasilan. Pada tipe Straight, urutan nyala lampu pada kedua sisi akan sama yakni jika kiri 1, maka kanan juga 1, begitu seterusnya sampai lampu ke delapan. 
8. Jika telah selesai dan keseluruhan langkah di atas telah Anda lakukan dengan benar, maka sekarang kabel LAN tipe Straight Anda telah selesai. 

Untuk tipe Crossover dan Rollover, langkah umumnya sama namun berbeda pada saat menyusun urutan warna dan tipe kabel saja.

TOPOLOGI JARINGAN

Setelah pada postingan sebelumnya dijelaskan pengertian jaringan dan jenis-jenisnya, postingan kali ini masih akan membahas seputar jaringan komputer (Networking) dan postingan kali inipun bias dianggap sebagai pelengkap postinagn terdahulu tersebut yaitu jaringan komputer.
Dalam sebuah jaringan komputer pastilah terdapat sebuah topologi yang menghubungkan komputer-komputer tersebut, lalu apa sebenarnya yang dimaksud dengan topologi tersebut? Secara sederhana Topologi adalah ”cara menghubungkan komputer yang satu dengan yang lainnya sehingga membentuk sebuah jaringan”. Sedangkan meurut kamus ilmu komputer yang dimaksud topologi adalah :
”Arsitektur komputer jaringan, atau disebut juga dengan network architecture. Bagaimana suatu jaringan komputer disusun sedemikian rupa sehingga mesin lainnya dapat saling terhubung satu dengan yang lainnya”
Dalam perkembangannyapun topologi ini memiliki berbagai jenis yang memiliki cirri khas dan keunggulan serta kelemahan dari masing-masing topologi tersebut. Topologi jaringan yang banyak digunakan yaitu :

1. Topologi Bus
Pada topologi bus biasanya selalu menggunakan sebuah kabel tunggal dimana sebuah workstation dan server dihubungkan. Keunggulan dari topologi jaringan ini adalahpengembangan jaringan atau penambahan workstation baru dapat dilakukan tanpa mengganggu workstation lain yang sudah terbentuk sebelumnya. Sedangkan apapbila dilihat dari sisi kelemahannya, bila terdapat gangguan disepanjang kabel pusat maka seluruh jaringan (worksatation) akan mengalami gangguan juga.

2. Topologi Ring
Didalam topologi ring semua workstation dan server dihubungkan sehingga terbentuk satu pola lingkaran atau cincin. Tiap workstation ataupun server akan menerima dan melewatkan informasi dari satu komputer ke komputer lain, bila alamat-alamat dimaksud sesuai maka informasi yang dikirimkan akan diterima dengan baik, namun apabila sebaliknya maka informasi tersebut akan ditolak dan tidak diterima. Kelemahan dari topologi ini adalah setiap node dalam jaringan akan selalu ikut serta dalam mengelola setiap informasi yang dilewatkan dalam jaringan, sehingga bila terdapat gangguan disuatu node (titik) maka seluruh jaringan akan ikut terganggu. Sedangkan keungggulan dari topologi ini adalah tidak terjadinya collision atau tabrakan dalam pengiriman informasi data seperti yang terjadi pada topologi bus, karena hanya satu node yang dapat mengirimkan data pada satu saat.

3. Topologi Star
Topologi yang satu ini merupakan topologi jaringan yang paling banyak digunakan dimana jaringan menggunakan control yang terpusat (Hub), semua link harus melewatu pusat yang menyalurkan semua data tersebut kesemua simpul atau client yang dipilihnyasimpul pusat biasanya dinamakan stasiun primer atau server dan lainnya dinamakan stasiun sekunder atau client server. setelah hubungan jaringan dimulai oleh server maka setiap client serversewaktu-waktu dapat menggunakan hubungan jaringan tersebut tanpa menunggua perintah dari server. Adapun keunggulan dari topologi star ini adalah :
• Paling fleksibel
• Pemasangan atau perubahan stasiun sangat mudah dan tidak akan mengganggu jaringan lain
• Kontrol terpusat
• Kemudahan deteksi dan isolasi kesalahan/kerusakan
• Kemudahan manajemen jaringan
Sedangkan kerugiannya adalah :
• Boros kabel
• Perlu adanya penanganan khusus

• Hosts File Repair, fix the hosts file sometimes changed or edited by a virus (malware).
• Remove Policies Set By Infections, returns to the beginning of a variety of settings, such as Task Manager can not run, missing desktop display, no roads and other exe. Suitable for repair after the computer is infected with a virus
• Repair Icons, if the view is icon is not true or just a blank or white only, select this improvement.
• Repair the Winsock & DNS Cache, to fix the connection problem or damaged tissue. As such we can not connect to the network or the Internet but had no problem
• Remove Temp Files, more toward cleaning windows by deleting the temporary files that are not used anymore (temporary files), sometimes the virus is also located at this location
• Proxy Settings Repair, Fix problems proxy (proxy will be turned off), such as we are not able to connect to certain websites
• Non Unhide System Files, will display the files windows are hidden by the virus / malware that ought not the file system.

Microsoft menghimbau para pelanggan untuk beralih pada Windows 7 dan meninggalkan sistem operasi Windows XP yang sudah menginjak usia 10 tahun, serta akan memasuki masa pensiun dalam 1.000 hari kedepan.
Stephen Rose dari Microsoft melalui blog Windows Team menyatakan, Windows XP memiliki prestasi yang luar biasa dan jutaan pengguna PC sangat menyukainya, namun sudah saatnya untuk melakukan peralihan.

Microsoft akan menghentikan dukungan terhadap Windows XP pada tanggal 8 April 2014. Nantinya tidak akan tersedia Security patch dan hotfixes yang akan menyebabkan sistem operasi menjadi sangat rentan dan Microsoft hanya akan menyediakan dukungan secara terbatas terhadap Windows XP untuk pihak tertentu. Microsoft juga memilih tidak mendukung Windows XP, untuk browser web terbaru Internet Explorer 9.Selain keamanan, stabilitas dan dukungan software ada banyak alasan bagi pelanggan harus mengupgrade dari Windows XP ke Windows 7. Pengguna dapat dengan mudah berbagi file melalui HomeGroup dan berbagi konten secara otomatis melalui Windows Media Player maupun Windows Media Centre.

2. Ketikan regedit pada kotak perintahnya

Athlon Vs. Atom: Duel Of The Energy Savers

With the development of the Atom processor, Intel introduced a totally new chip design that consumes very little energy. AMD had to strike back, and did so by clocking down its Athlon 64, employing the K8 micro architecture, down to the lowest possible frequency of 1 GHz. The Athlon 64 2000+ runs with a core voltage of 0.90 volts and uses just 8 watts. As a result, the CPU easily operates without a fan. If you drop the 8 W Athlon 64 into a motherboard based on the 780G chipset, then the system hits power consumption numbers that, in our measurements, are below Intel’s Atom desktop solution. We were even able to lower the core voltage by 11%, without stability problems, and the power analyzer read lower numbers. Interestingly, AMD’s Athlon 64 2000+ processor, unlike Intel‘s Atom CPU, is not embedded in the motherboard. It can be run on any board with an AM2 or AM2+ socket.

Compared to Intel’s Atom, which runs at 1.6 GHz, the Athlon 64 2000+ is clocked at 1 GHz—60% lower. Despite this, the Athlon 64 outperforms the Atom in several benchmark tests as a result of its more efficient K8 architecture. In addition, the energy consumption of the entire system is lower, and that’s what really matters most.
We tried to run an AMD Sempron LE-1100 at 1 GHz and 0.90 V, but it crashed due to instability. Either the Athlon 64 2000+ was a pre-selected CPU, or the Athlon core has undergone a different manufacturing process than the normal processors. However, the AMD Athlon 64 2000+ will be significantly more expensive to manufacture than the Atom processor because Intel had optimized its energy-saving model to lower production costs.
